We bought one set of these sheet sets a little while ago and came back to buy a second set. A couple of years ago we had custom V berth sheets made from a company we found in San Diego (actually we had to buy a regular set of sheets and they modified them to fit our V berth). However, the quality of those sheets were not great, and they were also really expensive. We have been really impressed with the Quahog Bay sheets. The cinch fit feature really works well for the fitted sheet, and I can see how it is really forgiving for use with different mattress sizes. Additionally, the quality of the sheets are really great, and they washed really nicely. They are not cheap (but were still half the price of our custom made ones), but in my opinion this is a situation where the price does reflect the quality and that is so important with boat sheets. Two very minor things I would like to see - I wish the end of the cinch cords on the fitted sheet (and the pocket) were at the head of the sheets and not on the port side. In our case it’s not that easy to try and cinch the cord when trying to make the bed where it’s currently located. If they could be pulled while you’re stood at the head of the v berth (where I’m assuming most people with a v berth mattress would like them) it would be much easier, but we managed just fine in the end. Also, would love to see some colors that are slightly darker (the four color options offered are all pretty light). We liked this brand so much that we also purchased a V berth duvet cover and duvet insert that we love. It is a financial investment getting this bedding but we couldn’t be more impressed and highly recommend them.
