These sheets felt great right out of the package. After the first wash - exactly following instructions - they were stiff, rough and scratchy. The sheets are pretty much impossible to repack and return. I could have saved myself a bunch of effort by just flushing a $100 bill. This seller quickly proposed a solution to my problem which I accepted.Very heavy and not soft at all even after two washings.I'm tempted to rate these sheets poorly because I've had old percale sheets that lasted much longer and held up better than these. However, I have to be fair. I have the split top King and that size is really difficult to find. As a result, I only had two sets of sheets (the other set was not this brand/type). After the first couple of months, I found myself loving these sheets more, and hating the spare set of sheets (another type of fabric) and we would wash these sheets and only use the spare for a day or two until we could get these sheets washed and back on the bed. Consequently, these sheets have probably been used at least 5 days out of every week for almost two years (lots of times I just stripped the bed, did laundry and put them right back on the same day). I did not treat them delicately in the wash (hot water, tumble dry medium until they were completely dry).Until last week, my only complaint was that the top sheet had shrunk and wouldn't go across two adults and down to the top of the mattress, always leaving someone pulling sheets from the other. Last week, the fitted sheet split under my husband's feet, but we decided to just use the sheets until the weekend so we could go shop for a replacement (still hating the spare sheets so we didn't want to give these up). I washed them and put them back on the bed, and two nights later the fitted sheet split under my feet. While less than two years sounds like a short period of time, keep in mind that these sheets were used almost exclusively, washed in hot water with an agitator and sometimes bleach, and dried on medium heat. They stood up to heavy usage and less-than-delicate treatment, and other than a shrinking top sheet, there wasn't much to complain about until they finally gave up and split.I know a lot of newer reviews aren't happy with the quality, but if the quality is the same as what we purchased a couple of years ago, I don't think you can go wrong with these sheets.Pretty color. Nice quality cotton. Cold wash recommended. I didn’t see that and washed in warm and seems to have shrunk a bit but still fits. It is not wrinkle free at all! Disappointed in that.I have a particular type of bed(SN and the sheet prices are ridiculous). I saw these and decided to try it. It has been hard to find sheets to fit. I love the color, softness and affordability of these. The sheets were nice however the seams at the split top portion ripped on the first night of use. Unfortunately we can't return because we pre-ordered them to be ready for the sleep number bed we were waiting to be delivered and the return policy is 30 days from date of delivery. The sheets from sleep number held up well but they're much more expensive. A case where you do get what you pay for. Lesson learned.Worth the money!Like these sheets so far. Was a little leery of the polyester due to the heat factor, but slept very comfortably last night. They are soft but a little stretchy. The test is if they stand up to the rigors of rolling around in bed. These are the worst sheets I have ever had, Egyptian cotton, ? Really? They are really rough, terrible to sleep on.They were ordered as Ivory, they came yellow green awful awful. Really disgusted with this set, the only good thing the elastic goes all the way around. The top sheet is not really wide enough, the length is good.I don’t know how long they will last I doubt they will soften up. ( maybe not relevant as will not be using them for long)The worst purchase I have ever made.I last bought these sheets in 2018 and I was extremely happy with them, they have lasted well and but for the fact that they are now badly torn at the split there wouldn't be a need to purchase again. They have become softer over time and still wash beautifully, the same cannot be said for new ones and they are not definitely not what they used to be.When I first opened the package I was impressed by the softness and the fact that they did not smell; some new linens do not smell great out of the wrap and require immediate washing, my hope were high for these. Alas after the first wash is was apparent these are different and the 650 thread count does not for everything. Thread count has become a very big selling feature in bed linens but as with all things its not all that matters. The weight of the thread, or denier, also counts and it is evident the threads on these are much lighter or finer than the older sheets. It leads to much more wrinkling and probably less ability to wear well. There were other complaints about pilling and twisting in the sheets and though that hasn't happen to mine there is some twisting in the top band of the sheet, this typically the fabric is sewn off grain, unusual in sheets but it obviously happens. There are some spots on the sheets edges where the threads on the hems are breaking already so this is another concern.Unfortunately is it very hard to find the split king sheets so getting the quality you really want is a challenge. Be sure to follow the washing instructions to wash in cold water and dry on low heat, it will lessen the wrinkle factor. If you have a machine that has the ability to dial down the spin speed do that as well, again it helps reduce the wrinkling. These are doubtfully the type of sheets that are going to last you 10 -15 years but it may be what you have to settle for. These sheets aren't the dimensions promised. To get the fitted sheet securely onto the mattress requires herculean effort because they're not as wide as the packaging says. Furthermore, they REEKED when I opened the package. I had to wash them twice before I could use them, the odor was so offensive. I do like the color. But choose something else! The quality and feel of them is good but come out of the dryer wrinkled.
